Join California First Lady Maria Shriver and Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson at a happy hour to benefit Best Buddies, a charity that helps those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The charity Happy Hour will include complementary appetizers, a raffle and a silent auction.

I attended last year and they had really amazing raffle prizes such as wine, bikes, tickets to sporting events, etc. It's a great event where you'll be able to meet some wonderful people, win awesome prizes and benefit a worthy cause.

The tax-deductible tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Tonight's event, at Cafeteria 15L, runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. I plan on attending and I hope you do too.
