Wayside is a recent addition to the Sacramento culinary scene. While not as heralded or ambitious as Star Ginger, I've found it to be a reliable option when I'm craving bahn mi. I've eaten at one at least five times since they appeared, most recently at their Natomas location on Sunday. I shared the pork bahn mi and a small order of pho. Both hit the spot. This offer is good at their Natomas, downtown, Roseville and upcoming El Dorado Hills locations.
