To and from work each day, I drive past Masullo on Riverside and wish that I were could stop to eat at my favorite neighborhood pizza place. I don't think I can understate my fondness for the place. Here are some examples:

• Every time they have one of those half off deals at Groupon or Living Social I buy the maximum amount. The most I've ever purchased is 7 of them at a time. And I've used them all.
• Last year, my then-fiancee and I went there for Valentine's day. (It was a Monday.)
• My favorite waiter in Sacramento, Andrea, works there. While I'm sure there are waiters who know more about the intricacies of biodynamics in wine production or the exact ranch that the meat in a dish was sourced from, his Italian accent and apparent genuine enthusiasm for the guests makes the food taste twice as good.

(That's not to say that other fine pizza places like Hot Italian, One Speed or Matteo's Pizza aren't just as good. But for me, they're not in my neighborhood.)
