The Limelight, a popular restaurant and card room on Alhambra Blvd., was robbed early Monday morning, reports KCRA.
Sacramento police said the worker discovered the robber as he walked into the gaming area and found the man armed with a pistol, demanding money.
The janitor handed over an undisclosed amount of cash before the man ran from the scene.
