Chef Pedro Depina from Ettore's Bakery took first place in the judges competition and West Sac's own Broderick Roadhouse took the honors in the people's choice awards at Wednesday evening's Sac Burger Battle.

The event, held at Raley Field, was organized by Rodney Blackwell of BurgerJunkies.com and raised money for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.
