Dining News: Big Changes Coming to Kamon Sushi
November 24, 2013
Kamon Sushi, the delightful neighborhood sushi spot at 16th & V streets, will be sold at the end of the year, owner Brian Koichi Mizushima reports in a Facebook post.
Hello all my wonderful Kamon peeps. I wanted to personally let you know that I have made the difficult decision to sell my restaurant by the end of this year. The new owners will be closing for a few weeks at the start of the new year for a remodel. They will be retaining most of the staff both front house and back of the house. The Kamon favorites should all still be there, and they will add their new flavors as well. Please come stop by as many times as you can before the year is over! I deeply thank each and every one of you for all of the fantastic years we've shared. It is truly the end of an era. Thank you all again!
Mizushima's last day will be on Sunday, Dec. 29.
I'll keep Cowtown Eats readers apprised when we learn more about the new owners.
