This is the first of a series of posts wrapping up the year on Cowtown Eats.

With so many restaurants opening, closing and moving, 2013 has been a big year for the Sacramento dining scene. Here are the top 10 stories of 2013.

While I'm not sure readers care who gets a story first, I do try to break some news when I can, and I'm really happy that I broke this story first. Since then, I've eaten there twice and have found the food to be hit (I really liked their mussels and fish tacos) or miss (black bean chili that was served a little on the cold side, an unremarkable chicken sandwich), but improving.
