9. Foundation Restaurant & Bar to Replace 4th St. Grill

While I'm not sure readers care who gets a story first, I do try to break some news when I can, and I'm really happy that I broke this story first. Since then, I've eaten there twice and have found the food to be hit (I really liked their mussels and fish tacos) or miss (black bean chili that was served a little on the cold side, an unremarkable chicken sandwich), but improving. 7. Krush Burger's Opens Retail Location

Krush Burger, the pioneering Sacramento food truck, now has at least four brick and mortar locations either open or in the planning stages. But in January, they had just opened their first one in the Lottery Building, and Cowtown Eats was one of the first to pay it a visit. Read more...
