Local Chefs Battle for Africa Charity on Saturday at Mulvaney's B&L

Africa

Talented local chefs Adam Pechal (formerly of Tuli and now with Crawdad's River Cantina), Ian MacBride (Lucca) and Noah Zonca (formerly of The Kitchen and Capital Dime) will duke it out to find out who can make the best dish on Saturday, Jan. 31 - all for charity.

The chefs will each be given a surprise box of ingredients on Saturday and asked to make a dish inspiried by South African cuisine in just 45 minutes. The judges will decide, and the charity will win.

Proceeds from the A’frican Event benefit will help yoga teachers and students from Zuda Yoga travel to South Africa and partner with the Earthchild Project to work with the community and offer training to local youth leaders, empowering them with skill building experiences and employment opportunities.

A’frican Event will be held at Mulvaney’s B&L at 6:30 pm.  The event will include South African beer and wine tastings, a performance by African Dancers, and an auction and raffle.

Tickets to the event start at just $125 for a single ticket, or $225 for a couple.

Get tickets at Eventbrite, and more information about the event at their Facebook page.
