Win Free Tickets to Fairytale Town's Dessert & Wine Tasting Fundraiser on Thursday

MadHatterMeetsTheGreatGatsby2015

Fairytale Town's holding its annual dessert and wine fundraiser, Mad Hatter Meets The Great Gatsby, this Thursday, April 23 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Masonic Temple downtown. Because I didn't grow up in Sacramento and don't have kids, I've never been to the Land Park icon, but my friends who do have kids rave about the fun their children have at the local amusement park.

For $50 per person or $90 per couple, you'll be able to enjoy an evening of wine and food tastings, chocolates, desserts and music. There will also be a live auction and raffle. Proceeds from the event will benefit Fairytale Town's programs and park improvements.

This year's honorary chairs are Walter & Marlene Goetzeler of Freeport Bakery.

The wineries, restaurants and other vendors featured at the event include:

  • Along Came Jenny
  • Barefoot Wine & Bubbly
  • BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse
  • Bogle Vineyards
  • Capital Confections
  • Carvalho Family Winery
  • David Girard Vineyards
  • Dobra Zemlja Winery
  • Ettore’s European Bakery & Restaurant
  • Freeport Bakery
  • Hock Farm Craft & Provisions
  • Iron Grill
  • Karmère Vineyards & Winery
  • Michael David Winery
  • Moniz Family Wines
  • New Helvetia Brewing Co.
  • Nothing Bundt Cakes
  • Pedroncelli Winery
  • Rivers Edge Cafe
  • SusieCakes
  • Zia’s Delicatessen

You can learn more about the event or buy your own tickets at Fairytaletown.org. It sounds like a great event.
