With the launch of Postmates competitor Caviar this week, Postmates is giving away free wings on demand through Sunday.

BTW: I think we're in the early days of an Uber vs. Lyft situation. Two companies with immense amounts of funding are fighting for market share, and they're willing to give away tons of stuff in the early days to win since the market may not support multiple players in the space. It's terrible for their short term bottom lines, but as long as you're not an investor, it doesn't matter. I'm just going to enjoy the free food/delivery while it lasts.

The order I got last night was from Wing Stop in West Sac, with a receipt in the bag which said the free wings cost Postmates $8. I may have to get another free order on Sunday during the NFL games.
