Too often, great Asian food's served in drab restaurants. That doesn't mean they're not good, but sometimes, it's hard to bring a date to a hole in the wall ramen joint. Luckily, Tuk Tuk Thai Restaurant combines great Thai food with a great atmosphere. (I'll leave it up to you as to whether you want to pay for your date with a Groupon.)

Cowtown Eats was the first to write about Purgatory back in May. It's now open and offering a deal to entice new diners to give the place a try. I bought one and I'll let you know my thoughts on the new place.

Last time Tuk Tuk had a Groupon, I bought one and had a great dinner. It's back, and I plan on getting another one. If you're looking for Thai food in an upper-scale setting, Tuk Tuk is a great place.

Streets of London is a good bar with a great patio out back. They're one of my favorite places to meet friends for a drink during the summer. Now, you can drink at any of their three locations half off.

Tuk Tuk Thai Restaurant in Natomas is my go to place to eat at when I have a late flight and I don't want to pay airport prices for food. The food's solid and they're quick. If you don't believe me, here's the 2007 review in the Sac News & Review.
